Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe26 February 2007 He was talking about how heavily reality TV shows depends on editing to make a show out of 24 hours of video footage. This then led to the introduction of Screen Wipe's own reality TV show, which featured a children's entertainer, a runner from the first series, Charlie Brooker, and Aisleyne. They were all in a room chatting away to each other while being filmed by three cameras. Then came the point of the whole thing, showing the power of editing! Aisleyne was edited to make it look like she fancied Charlie, and then like she was rather bored by him. A reaction to a joke Charlie made was edited to be followed by strong laughter or complete silence. There was even an edit where Charlie was made out to be looking pervily at Aisleyne. In the end, Charlie Brooker "revealed" that this was all a ruse and he and Aisleyne had been happily married for a while now. This was followed by a romantic montage of them together in a park. This too was revealed to be a ruse to show the power of editing, as Aisleyne was forced to hug Charlie by using a picture of Richard Madeley to get her in the mood! So the "real" segment was followed by nice bit of comic acting by Aisleyne.
