Celebrity Netball 7's

Aisleyne took part in this year's Celebrity Netball 7's event on November 18th at the SPACe Centre in Shoreditch. She also played in last year's event, as part of the winning red team. So as she put on the same colours this year, the question in our minds was would she be able to help the red team to another victory?

Her fellow red team members included Vanessa McIntosh, Charley Uchea, Imogen Thomas, Orlaith McAllister, and Kara-Louise Horne. Sure, there had been a slight disagreement between Aisleyne and Charley at a previous event, but all differences were quickly put aside in the team's combined effort to beat the rival black, yellow and blue teams. In fact, Aisleyne was so determined to win that the commentator had to remind her that she was playing netball and not rugby!

Unfortunately, Michelle Scott-Lee's black team won the tournament. However, the event raised a lot of money for charity, which was what it was all about. Aisleyne also had a great time, as the various pictures online and in the Daily Star proved. So let's hope that the stiffness and soreness wears off in time for next year's match.
