Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards

13 September 2007

Aisleyne attended the Comfort Prima Fashion Awards at the Battersea Evolution Marquee on Friday 14th September. As the name suggests, the event was organised by Prima magazine and sponsored by the well-known fabric conditioner brand, Comfort. Proceeds from the ticket sales went to support the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity. Other celebs who helped to boost ticket sales included Caprice, Lady Isabella Hervey, Danielle Lloyd, Claire Sweeney, and that gobby one off Big Brother 8.

Ash wore a striking designer outfit provided by Lipsy to the event, which featured black and yellow stripes. It caused some controversy, as apparently some other less memorable Big Brother contestant objected to the similarity between it and their own eviction outfit. Unsurprisingly, it looked much better on Aisleyne, so some jealousy is quite understandable.

During the event, Aisleyne got to go on stage to announce the winner of the "Value for Money" award, which was sponsored by This Morning and voted for by viewers of the programme. She opened the gold envelope to reveal that the winner was "her favourite" Primark. As you would expect, Aisleyne's announcement was aired on This Morning on the following day. May we suggest that they should get her on back on the show soon to model some outfits from her favourite retailer?
