Urban Music Awards

Aisleyne once again attended the Urban Music Awards, which were held on 15th November 2008 at O2 Indigo.
 
And once again she had the honour of announcing one of the awards. Along with comedian Richard Blackwood she was delighted to declare that the Neo Soul award was won by her good friend Amy Winehouse, and in Amy's absence Aisleyne also accepted the award on her behalf.
 
Sadly, soon afterwards the evening was brought to a premature end by a violent incident at one of the tables. Aisleyne was fortunately not in close proximity to the incident, but she was naturally shaken and upset, particularly on behalf of her friend Jordan Kensington (Prince Diamond) who is the driving force behind the Urban Music Awards.
