Comfort Prima Awards 2009

10 September 2009

On September 10th Aisleyne once again joined with a host of fashion trade leaders and celebrities at the Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards 2009, as she had done in 2007. The venue as before was the Battersea Evolution Marquee, Battersea Park, London SW11. Others attending included Lulu, Jo Wood, Jade Ewen, Diversity and, as a couple, Imogen Thomas and Jermain Defoe.

Unfortunately, Aisleyne was detained by some other work commitments, which meant that she didn't make the main press call. It also meant that she wasn't able to make an award presentation as had been planned.

When she finally arrived, the meal was already under way. In fact while she was still in the car on her way there Imogen had been texting her to say that she had already begun the first course!

Once there though, Aisleyne made up for lost time by staying till late - in her words she thoroughly enjoyed "jammin' to the music".
