Mirror Bingo

It was part of a Mirror Bingo Big Brother Special in which over three nights players were able to interact with ex-housemates in the chatroom.

On Thursday evening Aisleyne's fellow BB7-ers Pete and Glyn had been online, and on Saturday night it would be BB8's Brian Belo. But Friday night was Aisleyne night!

That morning, the Daily Mirror's TV pages contained a good-sized "advertorial" to promote the special evening. They used the picture of Aisleyne from the cover of her autobiography, and used the book blurb as the basis of a feature about her, plus some more recent news. So as well as promoting Mirror Bingo it also proved a highly effective advert for the book!

There was a last-minute change of location because the Mirror's chatroom facilities had been commandeered by a team of writers working on a commemorative special about Michael Jackson, so alternative facilities had to be found at a partner-site. So Aisleyne suddenly found herself on familiar territory, as the partner-site used was in fact at Foxy Bingo, where she had previously made a similar appearance two years ago.

At 8pm Aisleyne started chatting to lots of bingo players, who asked a wide variety of questions covering everything from her time on Big Brother to her most recent activities. The evening flew by and Aisleyne said that everyone was being very nice to her. Multi-tasker Aisleyne also played bingo at same time as she chatted, though the numbers proved less kind to her than the punters!

When the chat finished at 10pm, Aisleyne's evening was far from over as she had then to dash across town for her appearance on Absolute Radio. Busy girl!
