The idea behind these events, organised by a friend of Aisleyne, is that the celebrities won't be there merely to enjoy the exclusivity of the VIP lounge, but will be "earning their bread" by working on the doors or at the bar, deejaying or performing, and so on. Future events are planned to feature celebs from Shipwrecked, Skins and Hollyoaks, but this inaugural one featured a host of former Big Brother housemates, including, of course, Aisleyne.

As well as several of the most recent alumni from BB10, the "workforce" included, among others, Rex and Darnell from BB9, the Marchant twins from BB8, and Pete from BB7, and many more.

So did Aisleyne have a good time? And what duties did Aisleyne carry out? In her own words, "The BB fans where sooooo cute and I think I might need some botox now from smiling so much! I had to 'work the door' then 'work the dance floor' and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed myself."

From various reports, pictures and videos it's very obvious that Aisleyne most certainly did enjoy herself, and we can also believe her when she posted on her forum that she was still "tipsy" quite some time later.

She seems to have been particularly impressed with the set provided by Pete Bennett and his Lovedogs, as she briefly joined him onstage for a little impromptu dance performance of her own! She was also snapped having a little tete-a-tete with Rex, though we are sure they were merely resuming the friendly banter they enjoyed when they appeared together on Absolute Radio.

We'll give Ash herself the final word on the evening. "All in all it was a great night and I am really proud of my mate for all his hard work and dedication to the event and was more than happy to help him make it a success."
