Aisleyne's Birthday

After the initial meet-up at the "Hog in the Pound" pub in South Molton Street, Aisleyne and her girl friends moved on to Molton House, where quite a number of paparazzi were waiting for her. They seemed particularly taken with her all-black outfit of La Senza top, ankle boots and, especially, her hot-pants - or to be strictly accurate her 'Jo Shorts' (from French Connection - "military inspired cotton shorts with double button fastening and side pockets").

She had a great girls only evening with a couple of dozen of her friends, receiving lots of cards and presents. Everyone also wanted to buy her a celebratory drink, and of course Aisleyne, knowing her manners, could only graciously accept their kindnesses.

As a result, when leaving Aisleyne DID need some assistance to reach her waiting car, to the delight of the still-present photographers, who knew that the media would be taking an interest in their "happy snaps", which of course they did.

Celebrating her birthday was the only time that Aisleyne partied hard over the holiday period. She even had a light time on New Years Eve as she wanted to get to the Harrods sale early in the morning.

Bargain shopping beats a night out every time for Aisleyne. We're sure Mr al-Fayed was most grateful for her custom.
