Aisleyne's Livecloud Chat

For a hectic hour she fielded questions on a wide range of topics from a large number of Livecloud forum members. We saw quite a few familiar names from Aisleyne's own website forum, plus a large number of other people, some of whom were clearly Aisleyne fans, some who appeared to be Big Brother devotees, and others who were there out of general interest or curiosity.

Topics raised (moderated by the Livecloud administrators) inevitably included events during Big Brother 7 (such as "Watergate") but also her book, her fashion range, and her current plans and projects.

Here is just a brief taster of just some questions and Aisleyne's live answers - we've left her original spelling untouched to preserve the immediacy.

Moomin: "Hi Aisleyne - it's great to talk to you - you are my favourite housemate ever. Are you still in touch with anyone from BB7?"
Aisleyne: "awww moomin, your my fav character ever, i speak to Immy and Pete and Nikki"

Rawky-Roo: "How hard was it for you NOT to throw water over Grace as she was being evicted?"
Aisleyne: "it took all my self control and then some Rawky, I knew I'd get kicked out if I did, but she nearly got it lol"

Rawky-Roo: "How's the book doing? was it pretty intense writing it?"
Aisleyne: "rawky it was soooooo intense my goodness, hardest thing EVER, I think its doing really well, its being sold globally"

Bradley: "Given what life was like for you at that time, what would you say to your 16 year old self?"
Aisleyne: "dear Aisleyne, dont drink too much and always buy new socks."

For some reason this reply gave rise to a lot of banter on the subject of socks!

jameskirksmith: "i loved the audition process you explain in the book....it was great to get an insight. Plus your mum sounds amazing!"
Aisleyne: "she is soooo amazing, thank you james"

SHM: "Hi Ash. Can you tell us anything about your next book?"
Aisleyne: "SHM, its not an auto biog again, its not fiction, thats all i can say for now sorry xx"

Rawky-Roo "what's next for the 'Global Aisleyne takeover'? I'm hearing rumours of ex-housemates returning for BB11, you got any goss on that?"
Aisleyne: "Dont know hun, I have heard the same rumours too but I hear them every year lol, I was in Playboy USA sept! big thing for me"
Rawky-Roo: "ooo-err missus! Playboy eh?"

Emptybox: Any future plans for your clothing range?
Aisleyne: next year i will have a tshirt range, something more affordable for the current climate....very exciting

The "socks talk" also prompted Aisleyne to add:
Aisleyne: omg! im soooo gonna do a sock range

Archer: "Aisleyne, you were my favourite BB contestant ever - the last person to really use the experience to change them, rather than just their income. What do you think is your next big life lesson coming up?
Aisleyne: "archer, i bloody hope there are not too many more lessons for me!! think i have had enough to last a life time, lol"

Archer: "I remember you on the last day of BB, you were so upset. And then you beat Nikki adn you looked so shocked - lol
Aisleyne: i know i was GOBSMACKED, can you imagen if I won!!! think i would have fainted for sure

Anthony: "would you ever go back in BB if you had the chance aisleyne?"
Aisleyne "ive been advising a friend as they have been asked to do celeb bb, my advice was to do it but im not so sure if i would again....na i would lol"

Pinkgirl2: "hello ash my question is do you get tired of people talking big brother all the time?"
Aisleyne: "i dont pinkgirl2, not like thhis but when cab drivers ask me, that can be annoying"
SHM: "Ash, how many times per day do you get recognised? or asked for autograph?"
Aisleyne: "shm a few times a day at least, its crazy"
Pinkgirl2: "it would annoy me i think i thought you were great and i read your book. would you change anything thats happened even the bad things?"
Aisleyne: "good question pinkgirl, there are things I would like to change, i'd love to have Marc back but everything else was a learning curve and got me to where i am today"

Pectinase: "Aisleyne, aside from being a total LOWCULTURE HERO your book is also well amazing. I loved it."
Aisleyne: "pectinase...awwww thank you baby, hope your getting everyone a copy for xmass hehe xx"

Ofni: "So what the Ash-plan for 2010, then?"
Aisleyne: "watch this space xx"

Pinkgirl2: "keep strong ash. i dont know you but i read a lot online and even today you have people not being nice to you. you dont deserve it. if you could have 1 wish what would it be? dont say socks."
Aisleyne: "dont worry pinkgirl, water off a ducks back.....one wish would be world peace and happiness to all, im a hippie"

As the moderators wound things up everyone agreed that the hour had flown by very quickly.
