Millione Launch Party22 September 2010 So how exactly can a wine have a conscience? Well, Millione is "a delicious lightly sparkling Frizzante rose from Italy", and £1 from every bottle sold goes to charity ActionAid to build community primary schools in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The target is £1million. Such an event dictated a sophisticated look, so Aisleyne wore a below-the-knee sheath dress in black with grey and gold horizontal hoops, topped off with one of her vintage updos complete with kiss-curl. Other guests attending included Sean Lock (who Aisleyne recently encountered on 8 out of 10 Cats), Fay Ripley, Jan Ravens, boyband Injustice and many more who all helped make it a night to remember. Now of course we remember how moved Aisleyne was in January this year when she visited an orphanage and schools in Gambia during her holiday there, so she was especially delighted to be asked to help a neighbouring part of West Africa. In fact, we understand that Aisleyne spoke with both ActionAid and the Millione wine people and agreed to support both causes. So stand by for possible further developments on that front. Meanwhile, why not try a bottle of Millione for yourself? It's already available at Tesco, Waitrose and Laithwaites, and more outlets are joining in. It's delicious, you'll be helping an excellent cause, and, like Aisleyne, you will also become "One in a Millione"!
