Celebrity Salon 2 is up and running!

Yes, the Irish Bank Holiday Monday on June 6th saw the start of the new series of the hit reality show starring Aisleyne and her fellow contestants Georgia Salpa, Rosanna Davison, Calum Best, Abi Titmuss and Alan Hughes, as they began their two weeks as beauticians.

The show was filmed over two weeks at the start of April, and is being shown in six hour-long episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings over the next two weeks.

So far we have seen just the first episode covering introductions, waxing, vajazzling and the first night living together, but it's already apparent that we are guaranteed a HIGHLY entertaining series. And it's also already abundantly clear that Aisleyne is going to be right at the heart of the hilarity. What's "theory" then, Aisleyne? What's "hedonism"? And who exactly is "Jason Flatley" again?

In subsequent episodes we are due to see the following events unfold:

Episode 2:
After a lesson in skincare, the celebrities are challenged to provide facials, body massages and bust treatments to some unexpected clients. For their second task, they have to apply make-up which sees them working with each other in new ways

Episode 3:
Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace is forced to confront her phobia of feet as the celebrities learn how to perform manicures. They also enjoy a James Bond-themed casino night, but are hungover for their next challenge, which is to help prepare the members of girl group Wonderland for their concert at the O2 in London

Episode 4
The famous faces learn how to apply fake tan, and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace manages the salon with mixed results, while Abi Titmuss meets a Mr Universe winner. The celebrities are also challenged to work behind the scenes at a TV station, and take part in a Come Dine with Me-style contest

Episode 5
The celebrities try and learn the skills needed to be a hair stylist, and are challenged to style the cast of Fade Street for a red carpet event. Back at the house, the UK stars are given the task of cooking a three-course meal for their Irish colleagues

Episode 6
The well-known faces prepare mood boards for a fashion shoot, and compete against one another in a karaoke contest on their final night in the house. The two celebrities judged to have performed the best during the series then go head to head working for a magazine.

Sounds like a riot!

Now we know that Aisleyne already has a loyal set of fans in the Emerald Isle, but we are sure that she will be winning a whole lot more over the next couple of weeks.

And those of us outside Ireland won't be feeling too left out, as we will be able to watch the programmes online on catch-up shortly after each episode is broadcast.
