National Road Rally 201230 June 2012 On Saturday 30th June Aisleyne had a fun day with the bikers, and all in a very good cause. She took the train from Euston to the Motor Industry Research Assocation in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, where she was VIP guest at the 2012 National Road Rally, described as a 'scatter rally' for motorcycles. This is where where riders plan their own routes around England visiting checkpoints along the way, whilst raising valuable funds for Mencap. The Rally is organised by the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) in Association with the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF). Aisleyne posed for photos with some the participating bikers, and with the 2011 winning team, before flagging off the 'Platinum' class riders as they began their tour of the country. "Oooh, I just LOVE bikers", said Aisleyne,"I've had a marvellous time, and I so admire these guys going to so much effort to raise money for Mencap" Related links: www.nationalroadrally.co.uk www.mencap.org.uk/get-involved/events/2012-national-road-rally www.aisleyne.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=2966 |
