BBC News - 20 Years of Reality TV22 July 2017 On July 22nd BBC News marked over 20 years of Reality TV from Maureen Rees's Driving Lessons right up the latest series of Love Island. They recalled how many contestants had met "extraordinary fame" and posed the question whether Reality TV had lost its relevance or still "packed a punch". They asked two stars what they thought of the genre that had made their names. One was this year's Love Island hunk Jonny Mitchell, the other was our very own Aisleyne, whose career, of course, spans more than half the period in question. While Jonny believed that Reality still had plenty of mileage left, Aisleyne sounded some notes of caution. She compared the more "innocent" days of BB7 with the "fame seeking" and "blurred morals" of current shows. See in full what Aisleyne had to say in the Videos section.
