Looking at the following BBC article, I reckon Charlie and his programme should be safe from the cuts... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7051242.stmWell, that just made me more worried. I've no idea how you can take any solace from that article. You are obviously a glass half-full kind of person |

I certainly hope they don't axe Charlie
His programme is the perfect example of the sort of show that wouldnt have got made before the coming of the extra digital channels

That "Chav-leyne" character is a gem, and I hope we see and hear more from her.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I hear Ash refer to this character as "Chav-leyne" on the Kickin' Off programme? Has somebody read my post, or did I sub-consciously pick the name up elsewhere? |

Yes, she did. You're not going to sue for copyright, are you? |

I'm sure that Aisleyne could find a way to persuade me to waive my rights. |

| Screenwipe "with added Chavleyne" returns to BBC4 and airs on BBC2.
The second series of Screenwipe is currently being repeated on BBC4 on Fridays. By my reckoning Aisleyne is in the 4th programme in a series of 5, This week is billed as 2/5 ie the "credit squeeze" edition, which should mean the yoof one - with added "Chavleyne" - will be aired on Friday November23rd.
And there's more!
It also seems that the second series is also going to be shown IN FULL on BBC2 at on Wednesdays starting on November 14th. That would put Aisleyne on again on December 5th.
Please correct me if I've mis-calculated.

| Excellent! The larger BBC2 audience should ensure more hordes of coach parties here on that evening (and more calendar sales?). Technically, I think its actually the fourth series they're repeating.

My inner pedant is lost in wonder at your outer one
CORRECTION - "The second series of Screenwipe to feature Aisleyne is......etc."
OK?

| I'm just bumping up this thread, as it'll be shown again on BBC4 at 11pm tonight. |

| What a nice way to wind up a pret-ty impressive week, eh?
The listings contain the following:
11:00 pm Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe
Charlie Brooker takes an irreverent look at all aspects of life on the small screen, including youth TV. Some strong language and some sexual content. [S]
Now then, does the "sexual content" warning relate to the nuddy bits from the Tudors contained in the programme or Aisleyne's closing credits dance?
Watch and decide! |

| I've just merged ofni's CBSW repeats thread into the main thread about her second appearance on the show.
PS: Just over 4 hours until it's shown again on BBC4. |

It looks like the BBC2 showing might be sooner than we thought for some reason, The BBC2 schedule for THIS COMING WEDNESDAY 28th November gives the Screenwipe details as the "yoof" edition ie the one with Ash.
The TV supplement with yesterday's Daily Mail suggests the same, though that also talks about it including a Tara P-T programme.

Two hours to go now. We should be able to tell if she's on without even watching it, as there will probably be an influx of guests like last time. But only if they recognise her in her Chav-leyne guise, that is! |

There's been such a stream of guests over the last couple of days it might be difficult to attribute any "influx" to the programme. And for the "casual" viewer she is far less identifiable this time. |

Another month, another BBC2 appearance. It'll be a nice Christmas treat if she turns up next month too. |

There was a modest rush of logons in the minutes after the end of the programme, I think. |
