| This is great news but embarrassingly the aerial blew off the roof four days ago...it just is,nt there anymore well it should,nt matter as we are moving...its just that if someone was walking down the road with 'antlers' they probably knew where my Tv aeriel went... yes its true Im not lying.!
That means I wont get to see this and I am fed up...that ruddy aeriel has been up there on the roof for 3 years....and now.....doh!
...Dr M...I think you need to get the forum under control...they are making some peculiar suggestions around you... I suzz-pect you realise this.. |

| What kind of audience does BBC4 get? Presumably Brooker is one of their best-viewed programmes. And what are the chances of it being one of the "BBC4 on BBC2" options in that "after Newsnight" slot? |

| I bet I'm older than you are.
Try "Rocky Horror Show" in Google. That's where I had to look to confirm who this particular "Brad" was, rather than your goodself. |

| A big thanks to Claire for giving us lots of notice. I have caught bits of Charlie Booker's show and I quite liked it. I had never quite managed to make the connection before that he was the person from the Guardian that wrote good things about Ash during BB. Hats off to Charlie for giving Ash another break. I'm looking forward to it. And ofni, I agree, I'd certainly never have predicted Ash would be on BBC4. |

get it now..... of course. Funny thing is for a long time in my life my best friend was someone called Janet and we often called ourselves Brad and Janet, which seemed obvious really

Aisleyne is on Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe on Monday 26th Feb at 10 pm.
It's repeated at 12.50 am and again on Feb 28th at 11.05 pm. They'll probably be other repeats too, as they're always repeating things on BBC4.
From BBC Listings for Screenwipe repeats:
Monday 26 Feb
10:00 pm First showing
12:50 am (NB actually Tuesday of course but listed in Monday schedule)
2:50 am
Wednesday 28 Feb
11:05 pm
Thursday 1 March
11:55 pm
3:15 am

| Thanks ofni!
I saw the tail-end of yesterday's episode to see if it mentioned what was on next week. However, only Stewart Lee featured and he talked about gloomy kids TV in the seventies. |

| Yeh I watched the programme to to get the flavour. Presumably Ash will be in the equivalent part of the programme to the "chair and coffee" sketch last night? |

| Looking at that list again, if you ignore the scheduling conventions, and think of the actual times and days, then Aisleyne will in fact be on TV every weekday next week from Monday to Friday, (especially for those FMs who never seem to go to bed!)
Oh and if you plan to be watching the 12.50am Monday (ie Tuesday!) repeat, then check out the film "The Blue Dahlia" on Channel 4 (starts at 12.30 and is still on when Screenwipe finishes). Remember Aisleyne's "1940's" Screen Siren" shoot in Closer mag? When I saw those pictures she immediately reminded me of Veronica Lake who is in this film with Alan Ladd.
If you can't wait to see what I mean, check out this link:

ETA: I thought I remembered posting about Veronica Lake when the Closer shoot came out. I just checked and I did indeed. Unfortunately, it was in "another place"

| I received this from today's BBC4 weekly mail-out...
"CHARLIE BROOKER'S SCREENWIPE
Mon 26 Feb
In the last of the current series, the most vicious pen in TV criticism takes a stab at recent programmes, as well as puncturing some of the industry's more ludicrous trends."
A bit vague! |
