| It would be nice to know if Ash has entered the Guinness Book of Records, but of more concern to me is the state of her hand - how did the operation go to remove the pins?

| from love aisleyne '''''''''''''
Aisleyne managed to smash the last record of 614 hugs in an hour with a whopping 850 hugs and is now officially the most hugged person in the world (in an hour).

Location: Scottish Borders | That's an average of one hug every 4¼ seconds. Trouble is Aisleyne's at a natural disadvantage. Bet they needed a cattle prod to get some of these Minehead b*****s to let go. |

| What was the point of all this hugging? Was it a charity event? Is it going to be shown on TV? Is it going to feature in a magazine article? Or is just the sort of thing people in Minehead do in their spare time? And where's Minehead anyway? |

| I see what your saying there Rem. Today the fresh article in the Daily Star, shows that Ais is looking for a newer image where she can escape all the party girl image - Im wondering then if the Minehead thing was the beginning of a different source of publicity to break the glamour girl mould...? Just a thought.....

| The sea air at Minehead will do Aisleyne a power of good. I've never been there, but when I was very ickle, we were at Clevedon, just up the coast. Also, congratulations to Ash for holding a world record - not many of us can say that, can we?

| Fantastic news. Thanks to the super loyal Ashfan Ladyash for her heavy detective work, which included several phone call to Butlins. I will be buying the Guinness Book of Records as soon as Aisleyne's name appears in it. |

Just a thought..... I think you could be right there ODM, although it would have had to have been for charity in that case. If not, it might be needed to show the contrast between Ash's new and old life. Before doing "Record Breakers" in Minehead (Somerset) - after . . . well who knows!!!!! |

| Aisleyne has posted a few words about this in the Hi Ash thread: "I done a PA in Somerset the other day, it was to try to beat the World record of how many hugs 1 person can give in 1 hour, the last record was 614....I beat it by hugging around 800 people....even with my bad arm!! " The full message is here: http://www.aisleyne.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=200&posts=375 |
