| The Anuvahood DVD (and Blu-Ray) is released on Monday 4th July and Aisleyne will be taking part in the nationwide promotion campaign.
The promotion is taking the form of a double decker bus, fully painted with Anuvahood imagery, which will be visiting different parts of the UK throughout that week. Various cast members, including Aisleyne of course, will be at individual shopping centres etc to sign copies of the DVD.
Special appearances, interviews, etc by individual cast members are also planned.
Dates and venues will be announced soon. So stay tuned to see where and when you will be getting a chance to meet Aisleyne! |

Although they appear to have missed out on the double-decker....and gone for a single.

Location: Scottish Borders | Touring in a double-decker bus eh? It'll be just like the film "Summer Holiday"....except they won't be on holiday, and we haven't had any summer. |
|
|
|
| The Anuvahood people have started to "tease" the bus tour.

As secrethousemate points out, it is indeed a single-decker!
Looks like we'll soon have details of the itinerary. |

|
| Still no word from the ANUVAHOOD peeps about tour details.
Some random indications which Drebin has sniffed out, which may or may not signify something
They have been asking people to let them know the best places to eat chicken eg Nandos KFC etc and they mention Brixton and Milton Keynes.
The HMV store in Birmingham has tweeted that they will be giving away a free packet of Fruit-tellas with every DVD sold.
That's about it so far.
ETA:
Oh one other thing. VirginMedia Movies On Demand now featuring Anuvahood download (from 4 July), with a new shorter trailer which includes Aisleyne

So what is Drebin suggesting here? That they're organising the whole tour around the best chicken-eateries in the UK?
Do we know anyone who is particularly fond of chicken (esp. jerk chicken) ???? |

I'm sure those canny Anuvahood marketers have based their whistle stops on what the target demographic reseach has told them. But Mr Deacon seems particularly keen on Nandos, so I imagine he was keen to know where the nearest one to each location might be!

Depends on whether its covered in Reggae Reggae Sauce or tomato ketchup. |

Good news for Mr Deacon - that stage is about 20 yds away from Nandos!!! |

Excellent choice. A central venue, to where people may flock from far and wide ... or about 400 yards from work. |

Aisleyne may not be there in person today, but is well represented by an image of "Maria" which has a prominent position on the bus!

So watch out in Forest Gate, Ilford, Milford Keynes, Trafford Centre, HMV Oxford Street - Aisleyne's coming your way!

Good news - Anuvahood still climbing the charts on Amazon and now at No.25 in their DVD bestsellers lists. Also No.6 in Comedy category. |

Location: Scottish Borders | Does that include Blu-ray sales, because that's what I've ordered? Amazon are selling the Blu-ray for the same price as the DVD, so it seemed silly not to. |

Blu-ray sales are listed separately. Anuvahood is climbing there too.
Meanwhile, here's The Trafford Centre's addition to the "Hype Hype Ting".

| Remember when the following appeared on the Gossip thread, hinting at what we later learned was the Anuvahood DVD tour?
ofni - 18/5/2011 12:13
I understand that Aisleyne may be going 'on the road' to various parts of the UK for a week at the beginning of July, giving people the opportunity to meet Aisleyne, get an autograph signed, etc.
Well, I'm thrilled to report that today I was able to take up that very opportunity and met up (for the second time) with Aisleyne!
And of course you don't really need me to tell you that she looked stunning, was utterly charming and delightful, and gave every indication that she was as pleased to see me again as I was to see her!
And even though she was obviously very busy with preparations for the signings etc, she gave me her undivided attention for several minutes, chatting, posing for photos, and even introducing me (with some very kind words) to Adam, Jazzie, Portia and the rest, who were all very friendly.
Definitely a Red letter Day! |
