| Aisleyne attended the Miss Great Britain Contest this eveming.
She wore the "lady in red" outfit as per Screen nation Awards, and had her hair up.
Very elegant! She seems to have a bracelet round her splint!
Darryn Lyons there too - (is he a judge perchance?) And Saskia (with unnamed bloke) http://photo.wenn.com/index.php?ref=miss%20gb%20210507&version=uk&session_id=3c8681af98d697db2845d655d41362fe |

Location: Scottish Borders | Great find ofni. I'd no idea this contest was on. Ash looks great with her hair up - so elegant. And is that a hint of bling on her cast. It seems to match her shoes. (I see you've edited your OP. kinda makes my post redundant. )

I was vaguely aware it was on, but had no idea Ash would be there. I was just doing a random check of Wenn, and her name was practically the first one that jumped out of the mouse hover.
I DID do the edit before I saw your post, honest EB. Not to worry, her elegance and innovative accessorising both deserve repetition!

Darryn looks pretty slick too! Wonder if BP will get to snap the two of them together?

| Brunopress have 8 (non-BP*) pics of the event including 2 of Aisleyne. One of these is a close up of what they call her "injured wrist" , showing the "added bling".
http://www.brunopress.nl
Search Aisleyne for just the Aisleyne pics, or "miss great britain" for all 8.
*Edited: the Aisleyne pics are credited to Yui Mok / PA Wire

| While we await further developments on Aisleyne's attendance at this event, you may care to read what the presenter, Joan Rivers, has had to say about the contestants - in her own inimitable style of course!

| Ais has worn that wine/red dress before...and looked lovely in it then...if it is,nt the same dress its very similar...Ais did,nt mention this PA on the radio did she? and none of us knew a thing.
The main thing is that she is bearing up and not letting her injury rule her life.
A great set of pictures...there will be plenty in the gallery soon with all the PAs she has been doing lately.

Thanks shm you just beat me to it. Looks like Bianca's picking up the tongue-pull habit too, but she needs to work on it a bit to match her mentor!

| Some departure pics on Rex now. Venue is stated as the Embasy Club so this must be the after party.
Two of Aisleyne, including one in which the caption draws attention to her arm and cast.
Interest also centres is on Calum Best and a "mystery woman" (remember he arrived with his mum). I suspect if his recent other half (and her parents) see these pics he may have to "lie low" for a while (Did you see what I did there?).
(I gather I'm out-of-date on "Lilum" - apparently it's all over? )
Anyway, more pics of Aisleyne. Also one of Saskia, Julian.

| Rex also have three arrivals pics of Aisleyne now, including another "splint" shot and a very nice headshot.
Also some good "characterful" headshots of Darryl ("Rex snapper seeks job at BP?" ).
If Daz and John McCririck got engaged in conversation last night wouldn't you want to be a fly on the wall?

| Sky Showbiz have an 11 picture gallery on this event, including the two "ladies in red" - Bianca and Aisleyne.
The first pic is of Calum and his mum, so the gallery starts with three iconic names - Best! - Gascoigne! - Horgan-Wallace!
There's also a pic of one of the stars of Deadline - sorry, not Darryn, it's Joe Mott. Doh!
Aisleyne's pic here:

Oh, BTW I nearly forgot, there's also a bit about the winner, wossername. Article here:

| AND the Sun online cover the event. The headline is about Calum, but the picture is a certain "lady in red" (they've even nicked my caption!)
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2004580002-2007230533,00.html
Pic in the gallery is slightly bigger. Also pics of Bianca and Saskia. Plus one of Orlaith who, it seems was actually a contestant! (See any stretch-marks, laydeez?)

| Thanks for all the links, some of which worked and some didn't despite intensive refreshing. I guess the doormen have now started letting Joe Mott into these sort of events without his celebrity girlfriend seeing as he's been on telly. Shame really! |

Which ones didn't, remaha? I'll double check them, but my techie skills aren't up to much, so I can't promise anything. From what I read elsewhere, it seems that Wenn is the one that causes most problem with some peoples setups. I have most problem with The Sun website, which often causes crashes - even when the Sun was sponsoring DSBB during CBB5 I had the same symptoms on DSBB. Anyone else having problems with these links? |
