Location: Scottish Borders | Hoops Aid are staging a celebrity basketball match on Sunday 10th May at the O2 Arena which will immediately precede the BBL (British Basketball League) Play-off Final. A crowd of up to 17,000 is expected, and the Hoops Aid match is scheduled for 2pm, followed by the BBL play-off at 4pm.
The first female player has been announced, and it's none other than our own Aisleyne. Presumably other female players will be announced later.
To coincide with this announcement this poster has been released by Hoops Aid. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CBmvz0tW0AEcp8d.jpg:large

Apparently the Final will be on BBC Red Button tomorrow, then on iPlayer. Also London Live TV will also be giving coverage, if you are in their broadcast area. Other media will also be there.

Now Aisleyne's no midget, so that guy must be scraping the 7 foot mark, I'd have thought? (in fact I've just looked him up - Priest Lauderdale, and he's 7' 4" )

Some good pics of Aisleyne in this gallery of the event:

Interesting that some the pics are of Mike Bushell from BBC Breakfast. He does a feature most Saturday mornings in which he participates in various sports.
I'm wondering if it might be worth keeping an eye on BBC1 if you're up earlyish?
One of the pics shows Mr Bushell interviewing Big Mr Lauderdale on camera.
Also, an extensive gallery by photographer Graham Hodges of the full day's events ie BBL final, both Hoops Aid games etc. Quite a few pics of or including Ash:
