| As avid followers of "All Things Aisleyne" we have all been aware from various hints, rumours and cryptic allusions that "something" rather exciting was happening behind the scenes.
We now have official confirmation that a film based on Aisleyne's autobiography has indeed been in discussion for some time and is now ready to move into the next stage of development.
Many details are for obvious reasons still under wraps, but the following information has just been released to us:
Title (provisional) 'Surviving Guns, Gangs & Glamour'
Official status: 'In Development'
Co-production, likely between three companies, one of which is Phrantik Films Limited, a subsidiary of Aisleyne Ltd
Certificated as a British Film under Schedule 1 to the Films Act 1985
Casting: no information available at this stage
Provisional length: 93 minutes (plus opening sequence and closing credits)
Current provisional schedule: principal photography late summer 2013, UK theatrical release Spring 2014. |

| Aisleyne talks about the film in this recent interview taking place last weekend at Leon McKenzie's book launch. Seemingly filming has already begun... though I suspect this is not the principal photography stage....

| I have heard on the grapevine that the film project is indeed still moving forward.
However at this stage of development, all films move very much like glaciers - very slowly, while the various key personnel bits of the jigsaw are assembled. |
