| I think you already gave the reasons why C4 are not showing a live feed. Pleading with them, without provising some reasons, is not going to persuade them to change their minds. |

Location: Edgware, Middlesex | I'm quite sure they didn't axe the live feed to stop complaints. Ofcom almost always dismisses the complaints as baseless and more complaints get generated from the highlight shows than the feed anyway.
It's more likely that they stopped the live feed because it was incredibly expensive and time-consuming to run and with the shrinking audience sizes it was catering to less and less people.
The best way to bring back the live feed, in my opinion, is to encourage more people to watch the show. Perhaps concentrating their effort and budget on more entertaining and imaginative tasks will help do that.

| I always found the live feeds annoying. Too much birdsong, ad breaks, and switching between groups of housemates. At least in the early feeds, you had a choice of two cameras, and they stayed with a groups for longer. But even so, how much live feed would you have to watch in order to find anything more interesting than what would be happening in your own life if you weren't watching the live feeds? Much better to watch the daily digests. |

Location: Edgware, Middlesex | Sometimes the higlights can give a misleading picture of events. Whether that's deliberate or not is something for the conspiracy theorists but there's no doubt that the more info you have the better able you are to make a judgement and, for me, the show is all about making judgements.
Still, I generally found the highlight shows enough to get a good idea about people. It was very rare that the live feeds ever led me to change my mind about anyone. They were most useful as backup for arguments on message forums :D

Location: Scottish Borders | You didn't have to watch the live feed yourself. Just the knowledge that it was being watched by someone all the time, meant that if BB got up to any monkey business with the highlights show, you could check on a WHATM type thread, to see what really happened. |
