Aisleyne will be attending Marine Connection's Safety Nets Ball at Grosvenor House Hotel on Weds 31st Oct from 19:30. The Sugababes are due to be performing at the event.

The Safety Nets Ball is to help raise funds for the charity’s ongoing work to address the issue of bycatch – which causes the needless deaths of at least 300,000 dolphins, whales and porpoises each year due to entanglement in fishing nets.

Will Aisleyne be wearing fishnet, then?

Perhaps she could wear one of these celebrity designed pairs?

Plus it looks like the event will be covered in OK! Magazine.

This event (but not Aisleyne) gets a mention in the new 'Daq Diary, Celebs which ARE mentioned include Orlando Bloom, John Terry, Paul O'Grady, Shayne Ward, Lisa Snowdon, Charlotte Church and David Gest. Rather oddly in my view, this line-up only gets a one-star rating and zero picture potential.

That's because you're misreading their blurb...

"The second event of the week at the Park Lane hotel, this bizarre ball plays host to minor personalities like Zara Phillips but is more notable for showcasing lingerie designed by celebrities like Orlando Bloom, John Terry, Paul O'Grady, Shayne Ward, Lisa Snowdon, Charlotte Church and David Gest."

There's no guarantee that they'll be accompanying their designs.

Silly me!

Lingerie designed by Orlando Bloom = Orlando Bloomers?

You were just overly optimistic. I wouldn't mind seeing Lisa Snowdon model her designs either.

Yeh that "individual" cropped up on a number of the agencies, but for some reason I suddenly forgot how to post links.

Aisleyne will no longer be attending this event due to another commitment.

Oh dear. What with Scissorhands, now this, I hope these "other commitments" are more lucrative or otherwise more "value-added".

Despite the shattering blow dealt by Aisleyne's absence, this event actually went ahead:

http://photo.wenn.com/index.php?ref=saftey%20nets%20ball%20311007&v...

with a rather thin looking roster of stars....

Curiouser and curiouser. I'd have thought Aisleyne would be a cert to be at Bianca Gascoigne's birthday bash, but it seems not.

Thankfully for her new "toned-down" image she was with us on the forum instead of .... well.....take a look at what the rest of 'em were doing...
