Aisleyne's acting career has moved forward another step with the news that she has been cast in the upcoming feature film 'London Town' - an edgy, surreal action movie set in urban London.

Aisleyne will play Chantelle, a TV director working on documentary programmes, in a role originally written for a male character. Filming is due to be completed before Christmas.

Further details in the formal announcement which has been added to the News section

Aisleyne has also been offered a role in another film - she already has her script for this movie, which is due to go into production in mid 2011.

And, it seems, that's not all ....

Good news indeed, innit?

And even better that it's a chance to show that she can play a very different type of character in this film to her role in Anuvahood.

Yep, from spoof comedy to edgy action thriller.... sounds like a versatile actress is born

And more film roles on the horizon, you say? Even better

Fantastic news. I knew she could do this. I think it took too long for these kind of opportunities to come along. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.
