"I partied with Amy until 6am!" - Aisleyne tells this week's Closer mag the story behind a pic of her and Amy Winehouse from that long night's partying they enjoyed together last summer.
She also talks about her friendship with Amy who she describes as the "mummy" of their group.
BTW it suddenly struck me that while "Amy as Mother Figure" might raise some eyebrows, for Aisleyne being around Amy & Co must be a really strong resonance with her earliest memories of her VERY unconventional homelife - so in that sense you can see that Amy could well present a kind of surrogate mother experience to her.

There's a new story about Amy that's hitting the world's online media, with more mentions for Aisleyne.
The story says that Amy is getting involved in St Lucia with a children's charity, and the "maternal" angle of this chimes well with Aisleyne's earlier quotes about Amy being a mother figure in their group.
