Ed Hardy Store Launch

Inspired by the art of tattoo guru Don Ed Hardy, designer Christian Audigier has made the biker-chic brand a must-have for the A-list, so the arrival of the new store on the UK scene was a much-anticipated development.

In keeping with the theme, Aisleyne rocked up to the event in a black vest top and a pair of sparkly skin-tight trousers (from her own UbA range), and another of her trademark quiffed hairstyles.

The celebs attending formed a veritable who's who of reality TV. As well as Aisleyne and pal Imogen Thomas representing Big Brother, guest of honour Peter Andre was joined by jungle graduate Nicola Mclean (plus babybump!), and Strictly's Joe Calzaghe and Kristina Rihanoff. X-factor choreographer Brian Friedman was also there.

Among the guests too was young singing sensation Dionne Bromfield, and in the absence of godmother Amy Winehouse, Aisleyne took Dionne under her wing for the evening.

After some mingling and lots of photo-opportunities, the VIPs and hordes of shoppers assembled in the main atrium for a spectacular catwalk show. Aisleyne, Dionne and Imogen had front row seats just a few places along from Peter Andre, so had a grandstand view of some eye-popping clothes and choreography.

Peter Andre revealed that he has always been an Aisleyne fan. We can't say we're surprised, but it's nice to hear it, anyway. We did notice that the Orange website actually went so far as to have a link headline "Pete and Aisleyne open store"! Ash also added to her list of boxing friends by meeting Joe Calzaghe.

Aisleyne also took the opportunity to try on an item or two from the Ed Hardy range, which naturally attracted the snappers (and made the pages of OK! Magazine). And at the end of the evening she was presented with a parting gift of Ed Hardy clothing, including a leather jacket which she was especially delighted with. "I'm gonna wear this at the FIRST opportunity!" she cried.
