24 December 2022 Hey my loves, how are you? I love you all very much and pray that you are all healthy and happy. What a year! Whenever I pick up a newspaper, it just seems to be more doom and gloom. Which makes it even more important that this year we all let our hair down and have a great festive season. I hope you are all really getting into the Christmas spirit. Looking back this past 12 months from a personal viewpoint, I've had good times and low points. There have been several highlights and I find it hard to pick any one in particular. However number one low point definitely has to be my tonsillectomy in September, (though being carted off by ambulance to hospital in April after some nutter drove into me while I was filming at a kart track comes a close second!). Why is having your tonsils removed such a breeze for kids but feels like a near death experience for adults? I was laid up in agony for nearly a fortnight afterwards. Unfortunately my commercial interests mean I seem to have hardly any time for attending events and evenings out these days, plus I need to have a clear head in the mornings now! I've really enjoyed my regular TV discussion show appearances this year, especially when I disagree with the other panelists! Reviewing the daily papers as they come hot off the press is fun too. Talking about the telly, a heads-up... I filmed a new celebrity reality series in the late summer, not allowed to say any more right now but keep an eye on the Channel 5 schedules early next year.... Merry chrimbo whatever you're up to this year. Lots of love Ash xx |
