Aisleyne, Alesha and Malibu!

It was billed as the "ultimate girls' night out", so - of course - Aisleyne was invited. The date was November 12th, the place was Studio Valbonne, near Regent Street, the occasion was "Malibu Presents Alesha Dixon" and the objective was to launch some new Malibu cocktails.

As well as specially invited VIPs like Aisleyne, 200 lucky members of the public had won tickets in a competition on Facebook to see an exclusive and intimate live performance by the lovely Alesha Dixon of some tracks from her new album "The Entertainer", plus old favourites including some from her Mis-Teeq days.

Attendees also received VIP style pampering by a team of hair stylists and make-up artists, and sampled Malibu cocktails including "Malibellini" (Malibu, rose champagne and a raspberry), "Malibu Breeze" and "Malibu Cosmopolitan".

Other celebrities in the VIP area included Nikki Grahame, Brian Friedman, Hollyoaks' Glen Wallace (no relation - as far as we know!) and socialite Tara Palmer Tomkinson.

Aisleyne took as guests her friends Carmel and Mason Smillie. She wore a black leather zip up jacket, matching black leather tight trousers plus black suede high sided boots (from Dune) with cross-over buckled strapping. Her hair was styled into twin long tight right sided plaits.

The crowd were treated to an electrifying performance by Alesha, during which she pointed out Aisleyne to the audience and gave her a 'big-up'.

Alesha was quoted as saying "No one asks me out. If it's because they are intimidated then I am glad I am single because I want someone that is not intimidated. I want someone man enough". Mr Paparazzi's report added "speaking of people who men are scared of" when citing the presence of Aisleyne, Nikki and TPT. We can see the parallels between Alesha and Aisleyne as similarly strong, independent women, but we're inclined to think that the others present rather different challenges!

As guests left, they received a canvas goody bag containing Malibu samples and an assortment of other Malibu-branded gifts such as hairspray etc.

Aisleyne clearly had a great time. Next day she tweeted "As far as Live Gigs go, the one I went to last night was by far the best yet! Alesha was amazing!"
