Celebrity Hens & Stags

On May 5th Aisleyne was the celebrity guest on WeddingTV's Celebrity Hens & Stags, where she had to organise a stag party for prospective bridegroom Ross and a small group of his pals.

The episode was actually shot over a weekend in Scotland back in July 2010, and the trip began rather disastrously. First, Aisleyne was suffering from an allergic reaction which had caused her much pain and a severely swollen lip. Then, when she arrived at Gatwick airport she found that her flight had been cancelled. And to cap it all, when she finally did arrive in Edinburgh, the airline had lost her luggage!

Happily, by filming time Aisleyne's lip was back to normal, though the missing luggage required some rapid shopping for clothes and make-up by the production team. None of which background, of course, is mentioned in the actual programme, where Aisleyne is her usual professional self - though it does explain why she turned up to drive at an off-road racing track in Gucci shoes (which Aisleyne called "her babies")!

The programme follows Aisleyne and her stags through a day of buggy racing followed by an evening of clubbing, providing plenty of entertaining action and larking about. It's obvious that a good time was had by all, and the "stags" were all clearly impressed by their glamorous celebrity "event organiser".

(Oh, by the way, Aisleyne DID eventually get her missing luggage returned - a week later! )
