Watch out, Ireland, Aisleyne is coming to a TV near you!

Yes, Aisleyne is one of six celebrities chosen to star in TV3's "Celebrity Salon 2", who will compete by running their own beauty salon. After training in hairdressing, manicure/pedicures, make-up, waxing, massage, etc. they will give treatments to members of the public, who then will pay what they think the treatment was worth, with all proceeds going to charity. During the two weeks of filming the celebs will live together in one house, which will only add to the fun!

The first series last year - which included Brian Dowling - was a big hit, so this year's show (again produced by Straywave) has been scaled up, with the "own salon" feature, a bigger budget and better-known celebs, such as Abi Titmuss and Calum Best - and Aisleyne of course! One press report said "Producers expect lots of drama and tension in the new series, given the feisty personalities of some of the participants." Indeed!

The first programme of the new series will be shown on Ireland's June Bank Holiday Monday June 6th, but filming starts next week April 4th for two weeks. Aisleyne will be flying over to Dublin this weekend. Now we know that she has strong emotional and family attachments to the Emerald Isle and she recently tweeted as follows, "Excited!! I will be in Ireland for 2 weeks doing Celebrity Salon.... Can't wait, feels like I'm going home... Who's my irish followers? Xx "

Well WE can't wait to see this show which is expected to be one of the highlights of TV3's spring schedule. We are also sure that Aisleyne will look great in her beautician's outfit.
