On Tuesday 24th July Aisleyne made her second appearance of the current season on Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

Emma Willis began by announcing that it was the 50th edition of the show, so it would be a Golden Anniversary celebration.

"So tonight" she continued, "we have BB7's Golden Ticket Winner - Susie Verrico!" - the camera cut to a somewhat perplexed Aisleyne, as Emma added "Only joking - it's Ashleeeeen!". Aisleyne looked suitably resplendant in a striking gold top (one of her late mother's own designs), having been told in advance by the producer that it was the 50th edition.

The other panellists were Manchester Motormouth Terry Christian and TV presenter Rav Wilding. Terry was in contrarian mood and chose to slate every housemate, adding an ironic "but he/she is a LOVELY person", after every comment. Aisleyne was characteristically forthright about housemates she disliked, but had positive words of support for housemates Deana and Luke A, and she appeared to get on well with the other panellist Rav Wilding.

Terry tried to wind up Aisleyne by insisting that her friend Sara was "insipid" but Aisleyne spotted the wind-up attempt and gave as good as she got. Then after the show she tweeted that Terry had given her some excellent advice on relationships. So as with her banter with Iain Lee on her previous appearance on the show, one should always bear in mind what Davina once said about Big Brother - "It's all pantomime."

Well most of the time anyway ...
