| The Daily Star have picked up on BB11HM Josie Gibson's disparaging comments about Aisleyne heard on live feed the other evening, along with Aisleyne's very measured tweet in response.
The Star seem to be very much on Ash's side, saying that she "certainly brightened up Big Brother 7"

It's a shame Josie and Ash don't seem to like each other though. I'm hoping they'll both get to meet each other for All Stars to so they can get to know each other properly

| Much a-tweet about nothing, really. Most people seem to get on fine with Ash when they actually get to meet her. |

It's not the first or last time people try to make a name for themself by slagging off Aisleyne. Nikki, Grace, Mikey, Richard and Lea spent a week doing that in the HND. A certain ex BB8 housemate has recently been very busy slagging off Aisleyne and her fans.

Location: Edgware, Middlesex | I haven't seen the footage of this slagging off by Josie but I doubt that she was slagging off Aisleyne for any other reason than that she believes Aisleyne is not a nice person. Lots of people got fooled into thinking that Aisleyne was not a nice person (including my sister, as it happens ).
I suppose you could accuse Josie of being wrong in passing judgement without ever having met Ash but we all form opinions of people from what we see of them on TV and in the media and few of us have the opportunity of meeting them so I don't really blame her for that.
I'd be very surprised if it had anything to do with Josie trying to make a name for herself.
In the case of the aforementioned BB8 housemate, on the other hand, he is definitely just in it for the notoriety. Personally, I'd consider it a compliment to be disliked by such an obnoxious individual

Personally, I'd rather Corin won now, |

You can rely on th BB producers to spread peace, joy and harmony amongst their past and present housemates. I wonder what comments will emerge from this show. |

| Well all I can say is "Three Cheers for Livefeed!" - I'm LOVIN' how a HM's comments about Aisleyne have been picked up as one of the BB11 stories of the week!
They ought to relay Aisleyne's response into the house - THAT would get the horizontal one out of bed for a change! She'd better know herself if she's talkin' 'bout Aisleyne! |

| Aisleyne's live phone-in was short but to the point. She'd rather meet Josie's duvet than the girl herself, apparently. Plus of course, the girl had better know herself!
Dean Piper from the Daily Mirror said Aisleyne is really nice - which was nice. |

Yeah. That was nice. |

| Missed it, but it sounds like it went well. Nice one!
Can anyone recall a precedent for a current HM slagging off a previous year's HM, and the previous HM getting a "right of reply" on a spin-off show?

Location: Edgware, Middlesex | Personally, I was a bit disappointed. I thought it would have been a perfect opportunity to take the moral high ground and show that Josie was wrong about Ash.
Instead, anyone of a mind to believe Josie would have seen Aisleyne's fighting talk to just be confirmation of that opinion.
I can't help blaming this "Know Yourself" catch phrase that they always trot out whenever Ash appears on one of the spin-offs. You can dissect the exact meaning all you like but it's essentially a challenge asserting an attitude of authority/superiority. If the only thing Josie has seen of Ash since she's been out is Ash continuously appearing on shows telling people to "know themselves" it's not that hard to get the wrong end of the stick and think she's become arrogant
