| As rumoured on the gossip thread, Aisleyne was at a wedding in East Sussex this weekend.
In fact, she was a bridesmaid at the wedding of her BB pal Pete Bennett and his longtime girlfriend Cherry (Gemma).
This was in fact the "proper" legal wedding of the happy couple. You will recall that Aisleyne attended (and reported for the Guardian!) on their "informal" ceremony at Glastonbury a couple of years ago.
The ceremony and accompanying festivities will feature on Living TV in a celebrity edition of their "Four Weddings" programme. As might be expected from the somewhat unconventional pair, events were "not your usual wedding" and had a "circus" theme. The mind boggles.

Apparently the only other BB-er there was Gerry (the Greek) Stergiopoulos.

Location: Scottish Borders | Now....I remember the outfit that Pete and Cherry chose for Ash when they took her to that fetish club a couple of years ago. (Who could forget it? ) One wonders if they had a hand in choosing her outfit for this? |

I hear that Aisleyne's bridesmaid outfit was "1960's style", empty.
I THINK that means that it was NOT similar to THAT latex outfit. I consider that a relief - YOU, of course, may think it a disappointment
ETA
There is also an independent report that Aisleyne's hairstyle was "beehive" style - which seems to match the 60's vibe. |

Catch a flavour of the somewhat "unconventional" proceedings with Pete's Wedding 'Speech'.
Gemma thanks her two bridesmaids towards the end of the clip:

Well as Aisleyne was their bridemaid, I suppose I'd better congratulate Pete and Cherry. I never knew about Wobbly Bob dying. I'm surprised Pete and Wobbly Bob were still friends. |

| Report of proceedings in the News of the World.
There are some pictures, though none of Aisleyne , but she is quoted in the article.

Report also picked up by Digital Spy:

I understand that Aisleyne retired safely to bed around midnight before "things got kinky". As she said in her book, that's "not her scene"
ETA. "What's on TV" also now have an item

| Holy Moly have finally caught up with this event, though as we might expect their report is riddled with errors eg getting the bride's name wrong, deliberately misinterpreting Aisleyne's quote etc etc
Gallery of pics including a couple of pics of Aisleyne - taken AFTER she had changed out of her bridesmaid dress (Holy Moly take note! )

ETA.
Spotted that they were BIG Pictures pics so no surprise that a VERY similar report has appeared on the Mr Paparazzi website, though with some acknowledgment that the pics are somewhat after the event. And at least they got Cherry's name right, if not much else

| I think Mr Pap is warming to Ash again though - Drebin recently noted he had become a Facebook friend of our girl. His recent reports on her seem less negative than usual.
P.S. Loving those costumes - looks like a mad time was had by all |

Still she looks stunning in the second pic with Gerry on HM pic. I think her appearance on Snog Marry or Avoid has helped her with that look |

So either she wanted to change into something more comfortable or didn't want to upstage the bride. She is anonymous in the video of the speeches. That's being thanked by Cherry for being a bridesmaid. |

Well, that suggests there was some Aisleyne, but not as much as we hoped. |

Location: Scottish Borders | Living TV have put up some clips of the Four Weddings show. You can catch a glimpse of Aisleyne in the first clip 'Episode two:Memorable Moments', and possibly in the third.

| Pete, Faye from Steps, Michelle Marsh and Carol Harrison attended and judged each other's celebrity weddings. The weddings were judged on the rating of the venue, the outfits, the food and the overall experience. The four weddings had different themes and massively different budgets, which didn't seem to matter. Pete and Cherry's budget was the lowest at £17000.
As the weddings were shown, the celebrities made customary bitchy comments about each other to the camera. Even Pete never held back. Aisleyne was shown in brief glimpses. She looked beautiful and appeared to be enjoying herself, but looked completely out of place in a room full of people in fancy dress. The producers at Pete's wedding focused on the more outlandish attire/behaviour (of the other guests and the kinky circus entertainers. The occasionally funny speech we saw on Youtube was (like Cherry) shaved and consequently unfunny. This may have been entertaining for some viewers (whilst boring me silly), but it made the celebrity guests feel uncomfortable. Michelle had some unwanted attention from a painted male who seemed worse for wear. Even though the celebrities were generally complementary about Pete, the unusual behaviour of the guests was reflected in the voting. Not even Aisleyne's presence could help Pete to further reality glory. Michelle's wedding was judged to be the best and Pete's was bottom of the pile.
It was probably worth watching if you're a fan of Pete. He worked hard on building up his annoyingly quirky character and spared no effort to draw attention to himself in his attire for the other weddings. Sometimes I laughed with him. Most of the time, I laughed at him. To quote Pete, I thought Celebrity Four Weddings was "cheesy as ..... ". I can't understand why celebs allow Hello to their wedding, but this was too awful to even contemplate. I thank God that I am happily married and that I will never be famous. I feel mortally embarrassed for the celebrities who allowed their special days to be soiled in this way. It was worth suffering for the glimpses of Ash. I'd watch it again with the fast forward button. |

Not that I saw Ian. The action at Pete's wedding was chaotic and the shots were too brief to see or hear too much. Did I say that I didn't enjoy the show? |
