| Holy Moly video interview with Charlie Brooker, about his new programme Newswipe, other "possible-but-embargoed" TV projects, and his quote improbable unquote friendship with Aisleyne.
This being Holy Moly (and Charlie!) the discussion takes on a somewhat "adult theme" , so FMs of a sensitive disposition might be advised just to take my word for it that Charlie speaks well of Ash eg "I won't have a word said against her .... she's funny she's nice ... clearly she's a lovely, attractive woman." Hear the rest at your own risk here:

ETA: Newswipe starts tonight on BBC4 at 10.30pm. The columnist on lowculture is excited at the prospect and also hopes for "added Aisleyne", but I suppose we'd have had a whisper about that by now if that was going to be the case

| Was he still thinking of Ash when he said of Kris Akabusi: "Maybe his knees will start to bend the wrong way"?

Don't worry, Ash, nothing TOO bad , just Charlie being ... well.... Charlie! 'Fraid you'll have to click on the link - or ask him yourself!
He'll have to take you on stage with him to collect his Dead Set BAFTA now, though, to make up for it!

Location: Scottish Borders | It's good that Screenwipe is returning later in the year, along with that embargoed show, possibly. So there should be plenty of opportunities for Ash to pop up. |

| The embargo on Charlie's new show for Chennel 4 seems to have been lifted.
Digital Spy have some details about "You Have Been watching" here:

Wonder who his celebrity guests might include? |

Location: Scottish Borders | Caught the repeat of Newswipe tonight, and thought it was really good. I liked the mocked up news studio, and liked the idea of re-branding the recession as "Moneygeddon". |

Can anyone confirm (I've between without internet access for the last 3 weeks) if Aisleyne will be appearing in this series? |

| Ash dropped hints on SMUC Radio that she would, as apparently she'll do anything to make Charlie happy.

Sounds promising then. And why not? after all, she's an experienced news reporter. |

Welcome back to Cyberspace, boldjohn!
We're not boldly going where no man has been before again are we? Yes lets see Ash covering the news. She didn't do a bad job reading it with Brian, and she's made a fair amount of news herself. |
