Didn't Aisleyne say that her bag and her phone were taken on Pangaea night?

The Sunday People have a somewhat different view of Aisleyne's "arrangements" that evening.

But then again Aisleyne also said not to believe every thing we read in the papers!

We do know she WAS wearing the garment in question that evening; so that much is accurate!

Thanks ofni. I'd take that story with a pinch of salt too. She said she had her phone snatched and I don't think she meant in that way!

At least the Sunday People are taking a sudden interest in her. I didn't think of checking their site today, as I didn't think there would be two articles in a row!

Just checked the paper version; there is a small pic of Ash (no, just her head!!!) with the item.

I suppose you could say the newspaper coverage of Aisleyne today is just pants.

Thanks again ofni. This sudden interest still baffles me. Has there been a change of showbiz columnist at the Sunday People? There has been a change at the Sunday Mirror...

I've had a look at the paper now and they're not even using a Pangaea picture. It's from the Body & Soul charity concert.

It certainly seems to signal a major sea-change in the People's editorial policy, maringo. They must have thought long and hard over many a senior level meeting to decide what line they were going to take in the great "Aisleyne keeps her mobile in her knickers" debate. It almost ranks with that other great masterpiece of newsworthiness in the Daily Star some months ago "Aisleyne uses that posh public loo opposite Selfridges". Still it's good to see that Aisleyne is still so newsworthy! About time the People showed some proper pics of her though instead of these ludicrous non-stories.

The usual suspects on Digital Spy are also much exercised about this story; 50+ posts and 1200+ views so far today, with the usual baiting tactic much in evidence i.e. post offensively about Aisleyne then attack Ash supporters for being "defensive".

Seems like this thread is down to thee and me, maringo. Maybe a case of fools rush in where angels fear to tread, perhaps?

I was hoping some of our female FMs would help Aisleyne out by 'fessing up that they employ the same "storage method".

We blokes can't really risk it for fear of the 21st century version of the old Mae West comment ie "Is that a mobile in your Y-fronts or are you just pleased to see me?"

There are other reasons why blokes shouldn't put mobiles in their pants.

You may scoff, but this story could be the start of something revolutionary. On her radio show, Aisleyne mentioned the shoot for the lingerie range, which was well-suited for her. Perhaps its a range of knickers with compartments for mobile phones? This could be the start of a new trend!

How about MP3 player compartments in stockings? Thigh-pods anyone?

I would not keep a mobile in my knickers if it had the vibrator action on it...

My sons got one of those...my style of mobile would be Dom Joly...HELLO HELLO HELLO..but nobody would be able to keep one of those in their pants unless they wore old ladies waisters...lol

oh this post sounds rude....doh!

Not to mention the fear of it suddenly going off in your underwear.

If I am....

If not...would anybody like my telephone number?

( Its past watershed so a wee norty joke wont hurt none)

....Either nobody gets my jokes....or they are just too embarrassing to comment on..

If I do ring your mobile, I assume you'll take quite a while to answer it. Just remember not to get your knickers in a twist.

The usual suspects on Digital Spy are also much exercised about this story; 50+ posts and 1200+ views so far today, with the usual baiting tactic much in evidence i.e. post offensively about Aisleyne then attack Ash supporters for being "defensive".

The DS thread has now reached 109 posts and 1,840 views. Who'd have thought what Aisleyne does or does not keep in her knickers would have aroused such interest?

Do you think I should rephrase that?

She has just denied this story on her radio show. As ofni pointed out, she had her phone stolen the last time she went to Pangaea, so it's complete nonsense.
